Meet Me on Monday — January 30th

Posted: January 31, 2011 in Meet Me On Monday

Happy Sunday everyone! We had a great day today. Went to church this morning and then visited with my parents and my grandparents until later in the evening. I just got home not too long ago, and realized it was time for Java’s blog hop! Yep, it’s already that time again. Another Meet Me on Monday! I’m beginning to really like these.

1. What do you put on your hot dog?

I’m from Chicago, so this one is a no-brainer. Everything. I put EVERYTHING on my hot dogs. If you can see the hot dog under the condiments, it’s not made right.

2. Do you play Sudoku?

Yes, but don’t tell anyone. It’s a guilty pleasure of mine. I have always had a fascination with numbers.

3. What is your favorite vegetable?

I love cucumbers with cream cheese.

4. Do you color your hair?

Lol. Do I have to tell? Yes, I do dye my hair. I have five kids living here. Wouldn’t you be gray?

5. What is your favorite brand of clothing?

It depends. For casual I love Juicy Couture. Their stuff is comfy. If I have to dress in a business suit, I like either Tahari or Versaci depending on the venue. If I have to wear a dress to a formal event, I go with independent designers. Fashion students who want to make it in the fashion world really come up with some great stuff. But I do have to be honest about something. When I am having a really stressed out and frumpy day, I like this beat up old sweatsuit that doesn’t even have a label on it. I will hide in it in my bedroom until I feel ready to deal with life again.

If you guys want to join in on this blog hop please visit Java’s site. It’s awesome and the blog hop is fun. I hope you all had a wonderful week!

I love Chicago. When I was there last year it was snowing and so beautiful downtown. I went out at night and walked in the snow. It was beautiful to look up at the tall buildings and see the lights and snow. My granddaughter went to the Art Institute there. You live in a great place to find independent designers. I don’t think we have even one here in Russellville, AR. There’s one with a shop in Little Rock. I saw her on Design Star or something like that. I hope you have a great week. Doylene
